Exile on Meme Street

My god, it's full of memes! Dan Meth's twist on the most raucous Rolling Stones album, Exile On Main St.

Japandering Celebrities

Dan Meth looks at some Hollywood stars appearing in Japanese commercials. While many of them rival Homer Simpson's Mr. Sparkle they really don't seen like parodies.

I Always Feel Like Google Is Watching Me

Google Earth Guys

The Google Street View guys are back from taking pictures of every street in the world. Now to photograph the entire planet from every angle at every latitude. No problem. (Link via Dan Meth)

Here is the original, to get you up to speed.

Cyborg Sex Machine

Sex Machine! from Dan Meth on Vimeo

"I want to get into it, you know, like a sex machine. You know, doin' it, like having sex with a woman but as if you were a machine. Like some sort of mechanized device built for copulation with a lady. " Oh, so that's what James Brown meant...

David Croenenburg's Cabbage Patch Kids

Transformers and GI Joe are just the first in a long line of movies based on toys from your childhood.

Includes:
Care Bears vs. My Little Pony: The Reckoning
Peter Jackson's The Smurfs
David Lynch's Koosh Ball
John Carpenter's Alf
Wes Anderson's Teddy Ruxpin

From Dan Meth, who writes: "You can tell you are an adult when Hollywood is producing movies based on your childhood shows and toys."

Worry About The Replicants, Not The Apes

According to Dan Meth's Futuristic Movie Timeline, Clockwork Orange (there it is again!), Escape From New York and 2001 should have happened already. We're only a few years off from Postman, Robocop and just a decade from Blade Runner, which doesn't seem entirely off base.

Children of Men and 12 Monkeys are less than 20 year from now and while V for Vendetta still has almost 30 years to go, some of our current world events make you think it's closer than that.

On the upside, Planet of the Apes is still far off in the future, so we needn't worry about those damn, dirty apes.

Emomelon Days

Emomelon Days from Dan Meth on Vimeo.

Emomelon days are lonely, 'cause the world is so phony. Such sad, gloomy watermelons. I just don't even know how to describe how wonderfully weird this video is. From the twisted mind of Dan Meth.

I Will Have You Suspended... At Warp Speed!

Special Features: Trek Yourself

Welcome to Star Trek as as a 1980's high school comedy, as envisioned by Dan Meth. In Trek Yourself, Khan is a pink-shirted, popped-collar, preppy bully, Klingons are dumb jocks and James T. Kirk is the new kid at school, helping the geeks be cool. Who says there can only be one Trek reboot? The Trek universe is already loose with the canon, as far as I can see.

NYC Sitcom Map: 30 Rock Via Taxi

Last time I was in New York we walked from Seinfeld down through the Jefferson's, Sex In The City, I Love Lucy, Diff'rent Strokes and the Odd Couple, ending up at 30 Rock. We then took the subway to the Cosby Show and walked back over the Brooklyn Bridge to Night Court and Spin City.

From this Dan Meth's sitcom map I'm sure I will not be seeing All In The Family, Dear John or King of Queens, which are three shows that don't grace my TV either. What a coincidence.

Update:
Dan has followed this up with a USA Sitcom Map
