Say the Secret Word and Win ...

$666 taxable fiat dollars .....

By request, the secret word for today is "Usury."

If you walk the streets and ask a hundred people at random "What is Usury," you are likely to be met with blank stares from all of them.

It is never mentioned in the schools. Although usury and its use and prohibition has a long Christian history, have you ever heard a preacher talk about it? Politicians deny that word exists.  It scares the heck out of them because it is the backbone of their fraud. Even Ron Paul who for many years has been shouting from the rooftops about ending the Federal Reserve doesn't go the big step forward and call for the ending of interest on money lending. The shills of islamophobia pound the pavement with their madness of  'sharia law' is going to take over the world but will never mention another reason why we invade their lands. It's not all for the resources.
Islam FORBIDS USURY and rejects financial systems which are built upon interest, debt and the exploitation of the poor, and promotes kindness and charity as the foundation of caring society.
The idea of forbidding usury is a threat to the international banking cartel, primarily jewish, whose purpose is to enslave the masses under the weight of debt. It can certainly be argued that all wars serve this purpose. Instead of fighting each other we should focus on the fight against usury.

Make no mistake. The bankers and their minions will stop at nothing to protect their 'interest.' You can bet your life on it. That doesn't mean we are helpless. The first step is to say the secret word and to not be afraid to do so.

PROTOCOL No. 20
TYRANNY OF USURY

What also indeed is, in substance, a loan, especially a foreign loan? A loan is -
an issue of government bills of exchange containing a percentage obligation
commensurate to the sum of the loan capital. If the loan bears a charge of 5 per cent,
then in twenty years the State vainly pays away in interest a sum equal to the loan
borrowed, in forty years it is paying a double sum, in sixty - treble, and all the while
the debt remains an unpaid debt.
From this calculation it is obvious that with any form of taxation per head the
State is baling out the last coppers of the poor taxpayers in order to settle accounts
with wealth foreigners, from whom it has borrowed money instead of collecting these
coppers for its own needs without the additional interest.
So long as loans were internal the goyim only shuffled their money from the
pockets of the poor to those of the rich, but when we bought up the necessary person
in order to transfer loans into the external sphere, all the wealth of States flowed into
our cash- boxes and all the goyim began to pay us the tribute of subjects.

We're trying to save lives here

We finished up with a three day 7 family yard sale yesterday which was more than just a business venture, it was a large social gathering, a party, and good time was had by all.

With some exceptions, yard sales are a microcosm of a materialistic society gone mad. A large percentage of what was sold were things that should never have been bought to begin with. We accumulate and hoard until the walls are bursting at the seams and we scream enough is enough and hope to recoup maybe 10 cents on the dollar of what we originally spent.

Some of the sales were feel good moments. A old man with a granddaughter about to give birth pulled out every dollar he had and said "give me all the baby clothes this will buy." He was given over 80 pieces of like new clothing for $20 bucks and left with a smile knowing this kid would be well covered for a long while without  the family having to set foot in Walmart. These sales are actually a blessing for some who can't even afford Walmart or the Dollar Store and we saw a great number of these folks. It's the rural south and poverty is growing.

What's the deal with women and shoes? Over 60 pairs were sold, none over $1. One lady bought her elderly mother 15 pairs, many unused, and said this will make her very happy and will probably last her the rest of her days. I heard a few 'aahs' from those around.

The big ticket items, $100 and up, didn't sell at all. Everything from guns to guitars were taken back home. A nice set of congas I had got the most attention of all. Every kid and many of the adults visiting took a turn at banging the drums but no buyer.The highest price paid for anything was $50 for a solid oak locally made entertainment center that cost $600 new but only held a 27 inch TV. The new 52 inch big screen bought by the owner made that heavy duty piece of furniture 'obsolete.'

When you have about ten to twenty people sitting around at any given time, the conversion will take a turn to politics. Dems, repubs, teachers, preachers, farmers, retirees, young and old alike have their opinions and like to get them in. We heard it all. Everything from the hype of sharia law is gonna' get us, defending and attacking Obama, the declining economy, when is someone going to take out the bought politicians and even praise of Rick Perry as who they said should be our next president. There was a lot of talk about illegal immigration even as it seemed that every Mexican family from 20 miles around came in to buy a lot of stuff. No one refused to take their money. No one talked about the deeper issues of  who really benefits. No one denied that most are good workers.

Also, no one wanted to debate the criminal wars, the foreign policy domination of Israel and how we need to bring all the troops home. Too touchy a subject for most.

There was some encouraging talk. A good friend of my grandson who is also a senior in high school was there and I asked him if the military reciters showed up on the first day of school to prey on them. He said no but they would soon and that as of now none of his friends are considering joining. I said "great" and since I'm crude I repeated my standard rant about the reciters. "There's only two words you need to say to them ... get f***ed."

He said that the military guys have been pounding the pavement saying that it takes young men like them to finish the job and that they got bin Laden and would get the rest too. This gave me the opportunity to get in the points that the 'killing' of bin Laden was a fake and it was all lies all the time.

Then came a good surprise. He said that a lot of people believe that 9/11 was done by our government. Of course that gave me the chance to get in a quick narrative of the major discrepancies in the official story including the exploding towers and building 7, Israel and the Mossad and the traitors in our government and media and the trillions of dollars spent on the wars blamed on 9/11 so that only a miniscule few could profit. He listened. I think he may be getting it. I told him to tell his friends.

At that point someone said "Maybe you shouldn't be telling him these things." My reply ...
"We're trying to save lives here."
Kids will talk about these things when adults often will not. Since when are teenagers trapped in a politically correct bubble like so many of their parents are? The propaganda may be hard to overcome but I'm somewhat encouraged. The truth is about all we've got left.

We don't owe the debt of criminals

It's redundant to say so. The so called debt that is being imposed upon the people is not just only illegitimate, it is the result of the actions of murderers, thieves and liars. For the self styled demigods of a fraudulent government to imply that we owe anything for their illegal and immoral deeds is nothing more than spitting in our faces while the gun is held to our heads.

We can go back further but for the sake of argument, 1913 and the introduction of the Federal Reserve and the income tax on labor was the beginning of the end. It's been downhill ever since. You know the story. The voices of a few sane and honest people over the last hundred years have been silenced by the din of multi-frequency noise coming from heinous criminals who are equal to any in history.

Folks are waking up. I ran into an old guy the other day who without prompting said "They are destroying the middle class." But he, like so many others with a job, is in a state of paralysis. Working out his last few years without rocking the boat and hoping that his pension will allow his salvation from the chaos. He may be in for a deadly surprise.

I don't have a lot to say except that this false debt ceiling debate doesn't often include, at least in the treasonous media, the ongoing criminality of those who decide what they are going to steal next and who they are going to kill.

No! We don't owe the debt of criminals. The last question standing is are we going to do anything about it?

Will the meek inherit the earth? Not this time.

Reoccurring Questions

A common theme that keeps coming up among those of us who are lacking in money and health insurance is what we can do to maintain our health at the lowest cost. A balanced and as organic as possible diet, exercise, proper breathing techniques, some sunshine and a good attitude are my first choices. I like the frequent addition of raw garlic, onions and chili peppers as supplements and a few standby common inexpensive herbs for fairly minor health issues that may arise.

There are many potentially valuable nutritional supplements in the natural and health food stores and online but a look at the prices often means they're out of the question.

So in a world of ever declining cash flow and a medical and pharmaceutical industry that will steal both your money and your health, is there anything really anything cheap that the po' folks can add to their arsenal? Maybe something so inexpensive and effective that the 'health care' industry feels that their income and control could be jeopardized? Nutrients that the FDA will demonize to protect their turf? Actually there are many.

A good friend, ex-nurse and therapist who has sold many expensive supplements over the years but in a failing economy found no one buying embarked on research to find something so cheap, readily available and yet effective with a long history of alleged success that it should be in every home. He thinks he found it ... food grade hydrogen peroxide. After a year of taking it and even giving it to his dog, he thinks it's the real deal.

This is not a promotion. It's more about asking questions. He's bringing me some the next time he comes down from his mountain so I'll give it a try myself. If you're interested there's more info here and an 85 page pdf  The Truth About Food Grade Hydrogen Peroxide which gives a lot of background and details on its use which are many besides human consumption. If anyone has any experience with this nutrient or has any more relevant information, please let me know.

My friend has been selling food grade hydrogen peroxide for several months by word of mouth and through ads in some free newspapers but not much volume at all and with a slim profit margin because it's so cheap. He has been bugging me to set him up a website for sales. He doesn't have a computer and actually lives off the grid.  I've been very hesitant. The FDA is strong arming those who make claims as to anything with health benefits unless it's from big pharma so having my IP address connected to a web site with claims could be iffy.

I had him read Mike Adams  FDA unleashes end game scheme to outlaw virtually all dietary supplements formulated after 1994 to get a glimpse of what may be coming up and although hydrogen peroxide has been around for a long time and may not apply, there's still that issue of making claims. I could set up a sales site without any claims at all or providing links but whether it would work would remain to be seen.

Anyway, I find the potential of food grade hydrogen peroxide to be interesting and with careful handling and dosage may be something to think about. It won't break the bank to try. I'll follow up later if I think it's beneficial.

I just heard a bit on cable news that if the debt ceiling is not raised the government is thinking about selling assets.  We all knew this was coming. The international banking cabal wants it all and at fire sale prices.

I have some issues with Ron Paul but he did say the other day that in order to free up some money all we had to do is quit paying interest payments to the Federal Reserve. Maybe we should do that instead of selling gold reserves, if we have any, or anything else of value that 'we the people' actually own. The Fed wouldn't like that and may get desperate and have its boys blow something up to prove a point but instead of threatening to cut off social security I'll go with the idea of cutting off the Fed.

A comment from an anonymous poster on the last thread is worth repeating .....
The five fundamental steps to monetary independence:

(1) Outlaw usury.

(2) Outlaw currency speculation.

(3) Outlaw private ownership of banks.

(4) Declare all of the odious debt incurred under the old system to be null and void.

(5) Exercise caution when dealing with foreign countries that are still under the control of the Rothschild gang and implement appropriate countermeasures when necessary to thwart any attempted economic sabotage.
Since 'we the people' have no allies on these points in government at this time, I don't know how we would accomplish this but at least we can plant the seed of thought.

Austerity for Arms

‘Can’t pay! Won't pay!’

War criminal Dwight Eisenhower once in a moment of clarity or maybe it was in a moment of guilty delusion said "every gun that is made is a theft from those who hunger." If he were alive today, we might just respond with "you ain't seen nothing yet."

A new report puts the Greece crisis in perspective. It all makes a lot of sense now that we know Greece is the 4th biggest arms importer in the world and that it was all bought on corrupt credit.
It turns out that throughout this crisis of Greek public debt, and under the direction of the same international potentates who are imposing cuts in spending on welfare, pensions, health care, the public sector and all of the other usual targets, the country’s ‘socialist’ government has continued to spend vast sums on armaments.

The fact that the principal suppliers of these arms are two of ‘austerity’s’ biggest proponents, the USA and Germany, should not surprise us. We have moved beyond a situation in which lying by leaders is not so much accepted as expected, into one in which reality plays no role whatsoever in their discourse.

Greece may, in the estimation of politicians and the mass media, be a badly-governed, corrupt kleptocracy populated by robber barons and a lazy, feckless class of reluctant workers, but it is at least armed to the teeth. The immediate cause of Greece’s financial crisis was a doubling, from 2005 to 2008, of the value of loans from western banks to the country’s government. By the end of that period, these loans amounted to $160 billion. {more}

Depending on who hands out the statistics, Greece may actually only be 5th  or so in the world's arms market buying spree but there is no doubt who is the number 1 supplier. It's just about the only thing we export but another fact is that we are also number 1 in using up the armaments we make and we borrow the money to deliver them to their target or give them away to Israel and to buy more. Bankers and war go hand in hand. Always have, always will. Their middle men, corporations and politicians, are lackeys in the game. The poor and working class are the pawns and are expected to pay the price.

Mark this on your calender. September in London brings the largest arms show in the world and it's only a couple of days after the 10th anniversary of 9/11. War mongers can celebrate their favorite day of death and then party down with all of their friends and customers, making deals and planning more destruction.

It's not all for killing folks in other lands either. Security of the homeland is a big focus this year. Gotta keep the slaves in line in case they jump on that ‘Can’t pay! Won't pay!’ bandwagon.

And don't you just love the DSEi's headline theme .....
Infinite Opportunities. One world-leading event.

This is not OK .....

Forward We Stumble

Family Life by Tanya Miller

As we stumble along our paths there are no doubts that we are encountering degenerative elements who with every move are attempting to see to it that we are the ones that fall.

War is a proven control mechanism for the empire and the degenerate General Petraeus tries to soften us up for a difficult summer ahead in Afghanistan.
"Many intelligence estimates say that it will be as violent or perhaps even more violent" than 2010, Petraeus said at his office in Kabul.
"They will come back in force. There is some concern that there will be sensational attacks that could be indiscriminate in nature," he warned.
Sensational attacks? Another good reason to never leave. If need be we'll create our own 'new sensations.' As Peter Chamberlin points out in "If the Script Calls for Credible 'Bad Guys,' Then Create Some:"
The best-laid plans of America’s sickest minds are unraveling before their bloodshot evil eyes. The further the CIA mind-twisters stretch in trying to make their crazy “militant Islamist” scheme work somewhere in the Muslim world, the more the edges ravel on the magnificiant whole-cloth of lies that they have so lovingly woven for us. We should all be allowed to smile just a little when the CIA’s dumbest “mind-fuck” plans fail, if it were not for the fact that they have gambled our futures on their plots.
The great thing about “al-Qaeda” is that they are the terrorist group that has something to offer for anyone who needs a patsy to fulfill a task, whether that be to cover a political assassination of an annoying individual, a military incursion into an innocent country, the suppression of national civil rights, or even the use of martial law tactics against unarmed citizens. {more}

Then there's this creepy CONgressman Peter King who wants us to see a Muslim 'terrorist' behind every tree and make sure the police state rolls on. Visible nails the clown and gives us the real reason why these degenerates do as they are told ... blackmail.
The reason that Peter King is holding these hearings is the same reason that Guantanamo is all over the news and that is to obfuscate the information that is revealed in places like this, in order to counteract against the information revealed in places like this. What you get is a bunch of nonsense about Muslim terror percentages and for that you need to send in SWAT teams of TSA agents to hand rape people in Thobes and Hijabs, or anything really. You get to hear the name, Khalid Sheikh Mohammed, over and over and over and over again, juxtaposed with 9/11, which he had nothing to do with because 9/11 was done by Neo-Pharisees and corrupt members of the American and Crown Colony fascistos. {more}
To try and prop up the King hate fest, some in the media will resort to the CIA/Mossad talking points of al-Qaeda's American-bred leadership. Since there's no law against the media lying to the public, these people have no problem calling themselves journalists.

The Islamophobia hearings can be viewed here if you're into self torture.

While King moves his blackmailed lying lips, Hillary Clinton 'testified' before before a House Appropriations Subcommittee seeking 'mo money.' Her claws scratch the surface of deceit while spewing her 'excitement' of the developments in the Middle East, our national interests and "putting al-Qaeda on the run." The state department's $47 billion, or is it $59.5 billion using some slight of hand, budget includes exceptional wartime overseas contingency operations. Temporary of course. A good return on the investment in blood and treasure she proclaims.

Moving right along in the land of the degenerates, we come to one of the most despicable of so called humans, Abe Foxman. Whenever this fat genetically challenged mammal comes up for air to call for an apology, you know he is attacking some sort of truth. Otherwise he would leave it alone. Nodding in agreement to the statement that jews run the media, as former NPR money beggar Ron Schiller did, gives Foxman the opportunity to attack.
“No matter the circumstances, raising false stereotypes about Jewish control of the media is dangerous and inappropriate. Mr. Schiller’s remarks were offensive and he should acknowledge his mistake and apologize.” {more}

The continuing degenerate behavior of Israel will take much more cash from the U.S. Israeli blackmail once again for the Palestinian peace process as well as for what Israel calls themselves ... a 'stabilizer in such a turbulent region.' It sounds like a joke but the punch line never comes.

The Israeli military continues to pound the Iran drum. This time it's that Iran is supplying direct assistance to Gaza including a "very big arsenal" of rockets that can strike deep inside Israel. One might wonder why Hamas doesn't use them instead of the 'bottle rocket' supposedly fired yesterday into an Israeli open field. No injuries or damage but an excuse for Israel to drop a few bombs on several targets in the Strip.

Israeli zionist propaganda is pushed into middle school 'education' here in the U.S. Some parents take exception to the lies being taught their kids and are calling out the system on it. It's something to applaud as we stumble forward.

The stumbling of America is not by chance but by design. Now it's a major push for the decimation of the middle class in Wisconsin and then it will be on to the rest of the country.
A corporate asset-grab not seen since robber baron capitalism.

But who is one to steal from? Most wealth in history has been acquired either by armed conquest of the land, or by political insider dealing, such as the great US railroad land giveaways of the mid 19th century.
So Walker's war is not only against the Democrats and labour, it is against Wisconsin's Progressive Era institutions. His policy threatens to pauperise the state and deal a coup de grace to Progressive Era institutions and impoverish the state's middle class. Contra John Maynard Keynes's gentle suggestion of "euthanasia of the rentier", it is the middle class that is being euthanised – throughout North America and Europe. {more}

The Recession is Over, Christine O'Donnell is Not a Witch ... So I'm Going to Disneyworld !

Diane Sawyer just told me the recession ended in June of last year and Christine gave up being a witchy woman 20 years ago. What would we do without Diane and all the other names we can trust giving us the news?

The Wall Street casino surges, the champagne is flowing and little children are dancing in the street.

The National Bureau of Economic Research, a private, nonprofit economic think tank is the one who started the excitement with their new report. The NBER brags that they have had 16 researchers who won Noble economic prizes including Paul Krugman in 2008. They also spend a lot of time and money in Behavioral Economics.

Source Watch has a little on NBER's funding. All from foundations. One notable is the Scaife Foundations.  Of course the Rockefeller Foundation is also a long time contributor.

The longest post World War II recession is over and the NBER should know.

The Government and Banking Social Security Theft

How does one decrease the cost of labor in America?  Well first, you have to bust the unions.  Check.

Then you have to create a pressing need for people to work - perhaps give them easy access to credit and then get them to go so deeply into debt that they will have to work until they die to pay them off.  Check.

It also helps if you push up the cost of living by manipulating commodity prices.  Check.

Then, take away people’s retirement savings.  Check.

Lower interest rates to make savings futile and interest income inadequate.  Check.

And finally, threaten to take away the 12% a year that people have been saving for retirement by labeling Social Security an "entitlement" program - as if it wasn’t money Americans worked their whole lives to save and gave to the government in good faith.  Check.

The practice of using every dollar of the surplus Social Security revenue for general government spending continues to this day.  The 1983 payroll tax hike has generated approximately $2.5 trillion in surplus Social Security revenue which is supposed to be in the trust fund for use in paying for the retirement benefits of the baby boomers.  But the trust fund is empty!  It contains no real assets.  As a result, the government will soon be unable to pay full benefits without a tax increase.  Money can be spent or it can be saved.  But you can’t do both. Absolutely none of the $2.5 trillion was saved or invested in anything.

That is how the largest theft in the history of the world was carried out.  300M people worked and saved their whole lives to set aside $2.5Tn into a retirement system that, if it were paying a fair compounding rate of 5% interest over 40 years of labor (assuming an even $62Bn a year was contributed), would be worth $8.4Tn today - enough money to give 100M workers $84,000 each in cash!  The looting of FICA hid the massive deficits of the last 30 years in the Unified Budget. Presidents and Congresses were able to reduce taxes on the wealthiest Americans without complaint from the deficit hawks, because they benefited. The money went directly from the pockets of average Americans into the pockets of the rich.

Now that it is time to repay those special bonds in the Trust Fund, we are inundated in opinion pieces in the leading newspapers and magazines complaining about Social Security and its horrible impact on the budget.  Government finances have been trashed by foolish tax cuts, unpaid wars, tax loopholes for corporations and the very wealthy, the failures of economists, the greedy search for greater returns in financial markets and the collapse of moral values in giant businesses but Social Security is supposed to be the problem that needs fixing…

Social Security is not "broken" the money is in the Trust Fund. But the people who manage the finances of the United States don’t want to repay the bonds held by the Trust Fund. They want to default selectively against average people, their fellow citizens, who paid their taxes expecting to be protected in their retirement.

A Bad Month for Cartoon Characters

I already knew about SpongeBob, but it's a tough break for Dora — she won't like where she'll be exploring next. I don't have much sympathy for Richie Rich — at least he hasn't gone the Casper route yet. As for Little Orphan Annie, she had since 1924. It was time. Gubernatorial Candidate Zach Wamp Wants Middle Tennessee Economic 'Defense Corridor' of Blood

In Wamp's own words, persistent warfare is the opportunity and the key to middle Tennessee's future job creation and economic development.

Zach Wamp, TN 3rd district Republican congressman, is leaving his DC war enabler post to try and be governor. A big part of his 20/20 vision for the future is to bring the blood money home.
Zach will apply {his} aggressive approach at regional cooperation on a statewide basis including his proposed creation of a manufacturing “Defense Corridor” along I-24 and I-65 from the U.S. Army’s Redstone Arsenal in North Alabama to the U.S. Air Force’s Arnold Center near Tullahoma to Fort Campbell on the Kentucky line.

In this era of geo-political instability, ongoing terrorism and persistent conflict around the world, Zach envisions an opportunity to connect and leverage Tennessee’s regional assets to help create a powerful new economic engine – a Defense Corridor – that will help make our economy even more resilient in tough economic times.

This new Defense Corridor will not only help create thousands of new jobs here in Tennessee but will help protect America’s homeland and support our troops overseas.

Yes sir, that's what we need! Jobs for the war machine! Who cares if it means that to create and keep these jobs the conflicts overseas will have to go on forever and the fear mongering and false flags of  'terror' here at home must continue to be perceived as real. Heck, that idle GM Saturn plant in Spring Hill is just waiting to be retrofit to create some kind of weapons of mass destruction that can be used up just to make more.

And just because hundreds of thousands, maybe millions more, brown skinned people will die and be displaced and who knows how many US soldiers will come home in a box or be physically/psychologically damaged, that's no reason not to cash in. Work is work and these newly created taxpayers will help keep the scam in perpetual motion.

The problem with all this is that Wamp is an absolutely insane neocon shill and death merchant ... totally unfit to hold any public office.

The very idea that killing and destruction is good for the economy is a sick lie.

Len Hart explains in How the War Depresses the U.S. Economy ..... here are some excerpts .....
The cost of Bush's war on Iraq, left to Obama to 'finish' and clean up, passed the one trillion dollar mark some time ago but has yet to support or prove the old lie that 'wars are good for the economy'. Where is the evidence that the $Trillion$ spent murdering and torturing people in a nation that was, in fact, no threat to the United States, has created a single job on the home front? In fact, those $Trillion$ blown up in Iraq are lost forever --not having created a single new job.

Instead, manpower that might have been employed in productive industries was diverted to destructive and false causes. Instead of creating futures, we will be lucky to escape a tragic past!

The fact is, war is parasitic, destructive not of enemies but of the home front economy. Even if the U.S. should win militarily, the war is lost on the home front where it continues to be paid for by the subversive and depressive effect it has had upon productive industries and activities that provide real jobs, viable opportunities, exports!

War is not only a 'racket', as Gen. Smedley Butler so famously declared, it is a parasite!

Only the Military/Industrial complex benefits from war; what is good for the MIC is NOT good for the country. The MIC is a drag on the economy, an economic black hole into which is drained the economic and creative resources of the nation.

America's ruling elite have found nirvana --a war which need never end, a war in which victory is impossible to define and would not be recognized, a war in which victory is, in fact, impossible. A war which achieves precisely what it is intended to achieve: the enrichment of a tiny ruling elite for whom your rights mean absolutely nothing. {read the rest}

Pardon my language but "Fuck Zach Wamp!"

He and his kind need to crawl back in their rabbit holes of blood ... never to be seen or heard from again.

The New World Order Currency Crisis

I heard Phil Valentine, a local radio neocon shill say yesterday that the Greeks were selfish for not going along with the banker imposed measures to 'save their country.' Evoking the JFK message of "what you can do for your country," he and others like him are setting the stage for an austere future where 'we the people' are to be the ones who will not only pay but take the blame for not doing our part. Save the bankers, the politicians, the elite and maybe you will save yourselves will be continuing propaganda ploy.

Just as in Greece, many around the world will not fall for it. It will not be pretty.

Burning Dreams

We the American people are the only ones who can stop the madness that is leading us to ruin. The question is if we will or just watch as it happens.

"It has now become evident to a critical mass that the Republican and Democratic parties, along with all three branches of our government, have been bought off by a well-organized Economic Elite who are tactically destroying our way of life. The harsh truth is that 99% of the US population no longer has political representation. The US economy, government and tax system is now blatantly rigged against us.Current statistical societal indicators clearly demonstrate that a strategic attack has been launched and an analysis of current governmental policies prove that conditions for 99% of Americans will continue to deteriorate. The Economic Elite have engineered a financial coup and have brought war to our doorstep. . . and make no mistake, they have launched a war to eliminate the US middle class."   more

War with Iran could well be the total breaking point for what is left of middle America. The U.S. has no quarrel with Iran. They are not our enemy. A war will only be because of the blackmail and control Israel holds over a relative few in our government. Perhaps the rumblings are just threats and rhetoric.  But the bottom line is that Israel is psychopathic and by extension so is anyone who goes along with them.
Is war just around the corner? While in theory it would make perfect sense to distract Americans from the long road to US insolvency, and other more pressing issues such as the endless criminality all around us, in practice we have so far heard merely rumors. The Herald of Scotland, however, may have credible proof that a US-led attack on Iran approaches and could be just  days away. The newspaper has procured proof of an arms shipment to Diego Garcia, which consists of "of 195 smart, guided, Blu-110 bombs and 192 massive 2000lb Blu-117 bombs...put in place for an assault on Iran’s controversial nuclear facilities." Additional insight comes from Dan Plesch, director of the Centre for International Studies and Diplomacy at the University of London: “They are gearing up totally for the destruction of Iran. US bombers are ready today to destroy 10,000 targets in Iran in a few hours." Is war imminent?
Why is my country preparing to commit another crime against humanity?

Ron Paul "Once You Allow A Secret Bank To Create Money Out Of Thin Air You Allow Wars!

The War on Terrorism is a Racket!
by Len Hart

At the beginning of every fiscal year, the U.S. makes a lump sum payment of cold hard cash to Israel, a procedure not duplicated for any other nation receiving U.S. 'aid'. It looks like a payoff in response to a shakedown because that's what it is! What leverage, we wonder, is used by Israel on the U.S? The Carvellian quick response: terrorism! Terrorism is a racket! Israel exploits 'terrorism' to shake down the U.S. tax payer. Now we know why Israelis danced on 911.

Israel is among the world's richest nations. Nevertheless, Israel receives more U.S. tax payer money than any other 'single recipient' of what is euphemistically called 'U.S. aid', more, in fact, than all of Latin America, the Caribbean, and Africa combined. Though Israel is barely larger in population than metropolitan Los Angeles, Chicago or Houston, it receives more aid than two continents. Those areas include some of the poorest regions which receive much less U.S. aid than does wealthy Israel who clearly does not need it.

Then what does U.S. aid to Israel consist of? At the top of the list is, of course, the aforementioned cold, hard cash. Other 'aid' includes the weapons of war themselves. more

Dollar General's IPO and expansion is a bad sign

Dolla' Sto...

One of middle Tennessee's most 'successful' businesses, Goodlettsville's Dollar General, has gone public and stock prices went up $1.87 from the initial price of $21 in just one day.

Dollar General is a mini walmart of basic necessary items and foreign junk . Their niche is putting in stores in every little town and the suburbs of larger cities. Get the same basics without driving too far and dealing with the mega store hassles. Some of their stuff has no country of origin information so no telling where they get it.

It's where the poor shop. And now it's a favorite destination for the ex-middle class becoming the poor.

The Dollar Store is on a massive building spree. There are already 8,500 stores in 35 state and from what I hear the goal is 48 states. They put one up and opened it in a month 15 miles down the road from me. People are excited about it.

The Dollar General history has been significant increases in sales in harder times with lower in the 'good' times. People who have a little money won't be caught in a Dollar Store but oh my, "the times they are a changin'."

The company started out locally owned and operated, but buy outs later, the owners are a Wall Street investment company...Kohlberg Kravis & Roberts.

You can google the Kohlberg Klan if you are interested. They seem to be deep insiders in the ongoing financial scams. Anticipating a continued decline in the buying power of the common folks? If I were a Wall Street casino gambler I might buy some shares in Dollar General, at least for the short term.

So we have jewish Wall Street mobsters infiltrating small town America where walmart can't afford to go, giving us the the same 'low prices' for their slop and junk with the advantage of convenience.

"Save gas honey, go the the Dollar Store."

The local folks are so happy.....we're big time now...

we have a dolla' sto...

Who's hiring?...the adult entertainment industry

Will someone in Nashville please give this girl a good job and get her out of the strip clubs?

Jobs, money attract many unemployed to adult entertainment sector
By Janell Ross • THE TENNESSEAN • October 19, 2009

Jamie Tillman looked for a job for nearly eight months.

The 22-year-old applied to sit-down restaurants, fast-food chains and retail stores at the mall — all the kinds of places she has worked before.

But in August, with the unemployment rate at 9.6 percent in Davidson County and 10.7 percent statewide, she wasn't having much luck. After losing her car and running out of friends' couches to sleep on, Tillman found herself in a Nashville homeless shelter.

To get there, she walked past one of the city's five adult entertainment clubs. Then it hit her.

"I wonder what it takes to work in there," said Tillman.

She explained her situation to the manager, who guided her through the application process for obtaining a sexually oriented business license from Metro. On Tuesday, she and five other applicants went to the Metro Office Building on Second Avenue to receive their permits.

Tillman worked in an adult entertainment club for the first time Thursday night. (The Tennessean is not naming the establishment at Tillman's request, though the paper did verify her employment there.)

Across the country, there is anecdotal evidence that the number of people entering sex industry work — legal and illegal — is on the rise as joblessness continues, said Bernadette Barton, an associate professor of sociology and women's studies at Morehead State University in Kentucky who specializes in the study of sexuality.

In clubs visited by The Tennessean for this story, there was a former real estate agent, a former dog groomer and Iraq war veterans — all new to the industry and working in the clubs because of the economy, they said.
read the entire article at the Tennessean...the rest of the Jamie Tillman story there is sad but unfortunately may be somewhat typical.

As Obama might say "Stay in school kids, the military is hiring"

A bad economy is not a problem for the military, it is an opportunity.
That high school diploma is getting more important if a kid wants to add 'killer' to his resume.

The Washington Post has the highlights.....
A Historic Success In Military Recruiting

In Midst of Downturn, All Targets Are Met

{excerpts}
For the first time in more than 35 years, the U.S. military has met all of its annual recruiting goals, as hundreds of thousands of young people have enlisted despite the near-certainty that they will go to war.

The Pentagon, which made the announcement Tuesday, said the economic downturn and rising joblessness, as well as bonuses and other factors, had led more qualified youths to enlist.

The military has not seen such across-the-board successes since the all-volunteer force was established in 1973, after Congress ended the draft following the Vietnam War. In recent years, the military has often fallen short of some of its recruiting targets. The Army, in particular, has struggled to fill its ranks, admitting more high school dropouts, overweight youths and even felons.

Yet during the current budget year, which ended Sept. 30, recruiters met their targets in both numbers and quality for all components of active-duty and reserve forces.

"We delivered beyond anything the framers of the all-volunteer force would have anticipated," Bill Carr, deputy undersecretary of defense for military personnel policy, said at a Pentagon news conference.

As lengthy, multiple combat tours place U.S. forces under enormous stress, the willingness of young people to enlist has surprised even military leaders, experts said.

The quality of recruits also improved, with about 95 percent reporting that they had received high school diplomas; last year, 83 percent of the Army's active-duty recruits had diplomas, short of the goal of 90 percent. The active-duty Army this year admitted only 1.5 percent of recruits who scored in the lowest acceptable category on the standard qualification test; in recent years, that figure had reached nearly 4 percent.

Historically, there has been a strong correlation between rising unemployment and increases in "high quality" enlistments, according to Curt Gilroy, the Pentagon's director of accession policy.

Carr said the Defense Department spent about $10,000 on advertising, marketing, recruiters and other budget items per recruit, with the Army spending more than double that, at $22,000.

"The unemployment . . . left us with more dollars per recruit than proved to be minimally necessary," he said.

Carr also credited hefty enlistment bonuses for the military's success, saying 40 percent of recruits received an average bonus of $14,000, compared with $12,000 on average in 2008. The size of the bonus varied by service, with the Army, which has the toughest mission, offering more.

Given the success this year, the Pentagon is cutting its $5 billion recruiting budget by 11 percent for next year. {more}

The young ladies who wish to have a military 'experience' had better think twice.
Military Rape Awareness Week Starts At Time Sq. Recruiting Station

To kick-off a weeklong list of nationwide events aimed at educating the public about recent reports that one in three women in the military are raped, Veterans for Peace, the sponsor of this campaign, along with activists from local New York city area groups descended upon the Times Square Recruiting Station in Manhattan. A press conference was conducted by retired US Army Col. Ann Wright, where media attention on this topic was quite impressive. The cameras and reporters swarmed Col. Wright as she began to make her statements. She said, "It is a responsibility of us as veterans to warn young women that according to Veterans Administration studies, one in three women are sexually assaulted or raped while they are in the military."

VFP chapters will have actions during the entire week from October 13th to the 16th at Armed Forces recruiting stations around the Country to demand that military recruiters alert women who are thinking about joining the military about the high possibility they will be raped while in the controlled, highly disciplined military environment. Sexual assault and rape of women and men in the US military increased so dramatically during the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan that in 2005 then Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld formed a task force on sexual assault; however, the task force did not meet until 2008. Nearly one-third of a nationwide sample of women veterans who sought health care through the Veterans Administration said they experience rape or attempted rape during their service. Of that group, 37 percent said they were raped multiple times and 14 percent reported they were gang-raped. The Department of Defense has been reluctant to release statistics on sexual assault of men in the military, but anecdotal evidence indicates that the statistics are alarmingly high. Over the past 10 years, more than 700 US Army Recruiters have been accused of sexual misconduct or rape. Sixty years of US military studies and task forces since women began entering the military in larger numbers have not lessened the incidents of assault and rape. {more - Elaine Brower}
I know a former army recruiter who worked in Detroit at the beginning of the Iraq War. They were having a hard time getting bodies and he freely admitted working with the court system to remove criminal records if the kids joined up. It looks like that is not needed as much anymore.

So stay in school kids, keep those criminal activities to a minimum and when the recruiters come calling for possibly the only job you can get besides flipping big macs...you'll be ready.

The "Steel City" gives new meaning to the police state

The folks who want to speak out at the G20 in Pittsburgh are not being organized by Glenn Beck and his ilk nor being choreographed by Fox News. That's what concerns the criminal elite who will gather to further their agenda of economic slavery and put on a show of force against 'free speech.'

Free speech doesn't come easy.
IN THE weeks leading up to the Group of 20 economic summit of world leaders in Pittsburgh September 24 and 25, the mainstream media saturated the city with alarming stories of "violent" and "unruly" protesters.
But these stories also reassured residents that a slew of law enforcement agencies--local and state police, SWAT teams, the National Guard and the Secret Service--would ensure public order and protect private and public property throughout the city.
One question, however, didn't receive as much attention: who would protect the right to free speech?
Ahead of his arrival in Pittsburgh for the summit, President Barack Obama made it clear that he didn't value the opinions of protesters, anyway. "I was always a big believer...that focusing on concrete, local, immediate issues that have an impact on people's lives is what really makes a difference, and that having protests about abstractions [such] as global capitalism or something, generally, is not really going to make much of a difference," Obama said.
But if Obama thinks the demonstrations are irrelevant, his administration is going to great lengths to harass and intimidate them. The projected cost of the police presence--to include some 2,000 National Guard troops, 1,000 state troopers, 900 Pittsburgh police and perhaps thousands more police from nearby municipalities--is upward of $20 million.
The authorities will have helicopters, Humvees, prototypes of a new generation of top-of-the-line police cruisers--and specially outfitted police bicycles. "It ties in nicely with the whole green effort," said Chris Andrews, general manager of the military equipment contractor that donated the bikes.
Several buildings and sports fields belonging to the Pittsburgh public schools have been made available to law enforcement and military agencies to house personnel and provide landing pads for the helicopters.
But activists, on the other hand, have had to file numerous lawsuits to get city and state agencies to issue permits for peaceful protests and other activities. The city also put pressure on universities and other institutions to distance themselves from planned demonstrations, according to activists. {more}

The repression begins.....
Sitting here on the hill in Schenley Park I watch no less than 4 military helicopters constantly buzz the Pittsburgh Skyline. Police vans from Philadelphia and beyond patrol the streets of downtown creating a state of fear, a state of occupation. Over 4000 police, including 2000 national guard troops, some fresh from Iraq, are on call to ensure that Obama’s G20 party goes without a hitch.

Already the police have been going out of there way to create a state of fear before the summit starts. Seeds of Peace, a group that provides free food for activists, has been repeatedly harassed, their bus impounded, and a member arrested without reason. The Landslide Community Farm has also been raided and illegally searched by over 20 cops. No warrant was provided, the only reason given is that it was a matter of “national security.” Meanwhile the police raided several activist homes overnight, drawing guns on people, and towing cars. And after being told that the 3 Rivers Climate Convergence could leave tents setup overnight, low and behold, they have all disappeared by morning.
What is important to recognize is that this is not just a rogue Pittsburgh police force. Because the G20 has been declared a “National Security Event” the Secret Service is in charge of all police operations in relation to the G20. The Secret Service are Obama’s people. They answer to him. The preemptive repression on the streets of Pittsburgh is being done on Obama’s watch. Don’t forget that.

In an interview with the Pittsburgh Post, Obama said that protests are ineffective and that globalization is inevitable. So much for all his fiery campaign rhetoric about renegotiating NAFTA and other trade deals that have screwed workers and destroyed the environment. {more}

Pittsburgh is under 'house arrest'
Downtown banks and businesses have boarded up their windows and been forced to take out terrorism insurance... Our parks have become tent cities for police and protesters alike. The 3 rivers are shutdown by the Coast Guard and there are only three ways to access the city.... {more}

National security investigation? and lawsuits.....
The 16-page lawsuit focuses on three specific incidents involving the Seeds of Peace Collective, a group founded in 1986 to provide food and water to protesters. A bus, retrofitted to run on vegetable oil and solar power, that is used by the group to prepare meals, arrived in Pittsburgh from Montana on Sept. 13. On Friday, members of Seeds of Peace returned to where the bus had been parked and locked in a private driveway on Melwood Avenue in Oakland to find one police officer inside the bus and another in its doorway. The members asked what they were doing and told them they did not have consent to either enter or search the vehicle. The officers had the bus towed to the city's impound lot, and Michael Bowersox, its co-owner, had to pay $220 to get it back.

"This is the absolute worst police harassment I've experienced in 19 years," he said. "We have a long history of being committed to nonviolence, in the tradition of Gandhi and Martin Luther King."

The complaint also said that another bus operated by Everybody's Kitchen, which was parked in a private driveway in Bloomfield, was subjected to harassment, too. Yesterday afternoon, city officials told both buses they had until 6:30 p.m. to vacate the Sassafras Street property where they had been parked. Bob Johnson, an artist who leases the property, said a city building inspector approached the owner yesterday morning, cited him for several code violations and threatened to fine him $1,000 a day unless they moved.

The Seeds of Peace bus is equipped with enough supplies to make 5,000 meals, said Mr. Mark, 29, of Missoula, Mont. Contacts in Pittsburgh helped the food buses get permission to use the Sassafras Street property, which sits under the Bloomfield Bridge and is covered with scrap-metal sculptures. Mr. Johnson allowed police on the grounds on Sunday night when more than 30 police officers dressed in riot gear showed up at about 11:30 p.m., the lawsuit said.

"They informed the owner that this was a national security investigation and that no warrant was necessary." After about 20 minutes of discussion, Mr. Johnson allowed police to search the property, but they could not go on the buses. {more}

Another perspective....
Why not hold the meeting on an isolated Pacific atoll, or a secluded, desert military installation? It would certainly be cheaper, let alone significantly less risky.

The choice of Pittsburgh reeks of provocation (read agents provocateur).

Labor Day Blues

The day for the celebration of the American worker is fading as unemployment and uncertainty possibly foretells a winter of discontent.

Labor Day 2009 - Little to Celebrate, Much to Mourn

August 2009 marks the 19th straight month we have lost jobs as a nation ~ that's 6.9 million jobs gone! The Obama top down multi-billion dollar bailout and bank rescue has artificially inflated stocks and credit markets but has left Main Street destitute, jobless and unprotected:

The Obama Administration has tried to re-inflate the credit bubble that just burst by bailing out Wall Street and flooding the banking Industry with more money and debt with the notion that consumers would continue to spend and go further in debt ~ while ignoring the fact that 6.2 million Americans are jobless and most likely in debt.

There is virtually nothing to celebrate this Labor Day except wishful thinking and its dire consequences. The " Green Shoots " politicians crow about is temporary artificially induced growth
( Like Cash for Clunkers and Fat Cat Bailouts ) and will wither away under the cold winter of the long-term problems of toxic loans, bad assets, bank failures, increasing unemployment and severely restricted consumer spending ~ which represents 60% of GNP.

Twice as many seniors face poverty as costs rise
The poverty rate among older Americans could be nearly twice as high as the traditional 10 percent level, according to a revision of a half-century-old formula for calculating medical costs and geographic variations in the cost of living.

The National Academy of Science's formula — which is gaining credibility with public officials, including some in the Obama administration — would put the poverty rate for Americans 65 and older at 18.6 percent, or 6.8 million people, compared with 9.7 percent, or 3.6 million people, under the existing measure. The original government formula, created in 1955, doesn't take into account the rising costs of medical care and other factors. {more - The Tennessean}

Real unemployment rate tops 16.8% {and that may be actually low}
The Department of Labor reported a rise in the adjusted non-farm unemployment rate to a 30 year high of 9.7% after the economy shed another 216,000. However, beyond the adjusted payroll number lies a host of employment numbers that continue to raise concern.

The adjusted payroll numbers do not include 2 groups of unemployed workers that the DOL refers to as temporary part-time workers and marginally attached workers. The DOL reported that 9.1 million Americans are currently working part-time due to economic conditions. This group is comprised of workers who have had their hours cut from full-time status or who have been able to find full-time employment. In addition the DOL reported that the number of marginally attached workers grew to 2.3 million. Such marginally attached workers include individuals who are unemployed but have not sought work over the 4 weeks prior to the survey and includes some 758,000 "discouraged' workers that have simply given up. The addition of such excluded groups caused the real unemployment rate to increase to 16.8%. {more - Jarid Brown...The Examiner}

Financial Crisis, US Market Trend
The Inspector General has found the SEC incompetent, but not corrupt. We disagree - the SEC is corrupt, particularly in the Madoff scam. The current SEC Madoff probe is another scam. Money has yet to be found in any substantial amounts. The Fed, the NY fed and the Treasury know where all the money went and that is to offshore havens and Israel. That means high-ranking members of the SEC were in on it. We have not heard the end of this yet, and the results will be shocking.

Food stamp list soars past 35 million: USDA

Destroying A Nation: Money and Murder of the National Sovereignty
If you wanted to destroy the infrastructure that holds our constitutional republic in place, how would you go about that?

As with a controlled demolition you would need to dislodge the foundation from the bedrock where it is anchored and weaken the framework that holds the structure together.

In practice, you would demolish the laws that support the legal and financial structure.

Our constitutional republic would then collapse into its own footprint, meeting no resistance.

Why would a sovereign people who are fully capable of issuing their own money and credit surrender that authority to a supranational oligarchy that issues fiat debt? Abolishing national currencies essentially dissolves national sovereignty.

While media ventriloquists would have us believe rampant and random greed provoked a spontaneous “global financial crisis,” the historical record indicates deliberate and carefully planned destruction of national sovereignty, worldwide. The plans for consolidating private control of global wealth have been in motion for over a century, accelerating exponentially with the frenzy of neoliberal deregulation that enabled financial fraud to metastasize globally. {more - Nikki Alexander}

For many, today is not a reflection of the 'American Dream.' That dream is being destroyed by the Federal Reserve, Wall Street, a corrupt federal government, wars, the military/industrial complex and the growing divide between the haves and the have nots.

Boycott 'em all

http://hoboken411.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/08/hoboken-edgewater-whole-foods-beef-recall-august-2008.jpg trouble in organic paradise?

Lots of talk and chatter about boycotting Whole Foods, the walmart of natural food retail.

Boycotting them is self-evident for those of us who grew up watching the organic and natural food movement evolve. That evolution into a corporate monopoly for the educated but elitist consumer only in high income neighborhoods is not exactly what we had hoped for. Our hope was for a local based food supply with regional distributors supplementing the small business retail stores.

Putting that aside, this 'whole' thing is nothing but another diversion to keep us from thinking and acting on some more important issues like war...and...

A boycott involving tens of thousands against a company because of the political meanderings of the CEO? Just think of what a boycott against some major criminals might do?

http://www.wholefoodsmarket.com/stores/nashville/images/wholebodyfront2.jpg

I boycott Whole Foods for a couple of reasons.

1st, unless you are well off, you really can't afford to shop there. It's elitist and in middle Tennessee, the stores are only located in the elitist neighborhoods.

2nd, being the capitalist millionaire that John Mackey is, he bought out his competition, Wild Oats, and except for a few small out of the way natural food stores, has close to a monopoly in Nashville.

They are a Fortune 500 company, a giant corporation with large mark ups and buyers that squeeze the suppliers.

It's a far cry from the early to late 70's when there were several small natural food stores in many of the surrounding towns. All of them ended up not making a living as there weren't enough enlightened customers.
I worked for a couple of them. The Good Earth in Woodbury was opened by the previous owners of the first natural food store in Nashville, the Sunshine Grocery. They had sold out there after a year for lack of income and customers in 1973, but not because of the quality of the endeavor. They were ahead of their time and it takes time for the rest of the world to catch up.

Trying again with a co-op concept in Woodbury around 1976, there just was not enough participants and after a couple of years with a shortage of rent money and cash flow, the business folded.

I worked next at the Readyville Mill and the mill store. Same story, not enough customers.

Both places were incredible. Local produce in season, homemade bread, stone ground wheat and corn, raw cow and goat milk, fresh country eggs and a variety of US produced foods supplied by a Florida distributor. Sometimes a little homemade wine and moonshine and... We talked the talk, learned a lot and shared many good times.

Now after over 30 years, the customers with money are there, for now, but the small time aspect is gone.

As always, when mega-corporations take over from the little guy, the prices go through the roof and that personal touch is lost.

We should boycott as many of the major corporations as we can, all of the walmarts of the various niche markets and try to bring back a few local jobs. The economy is forcing us to anyway.

The emergence of local farmers markets gives us some hope. I talked to one guy who has sold over $1,200 of produce out of his garden so far this season.

Who needs Whole Foods?
