David Cameron wins support

The UK House of Commons has voted by 557 to 13 to support the destruction of Libya and the murder of Libyan civilians.

According to an ITV/ComRes poll, only 35% of UK people agreed it is right for the UK to take military action against Gaddafi’s forces.

Most Brits are against strikes on Libya

Note that the Scottish National Party voted to bomb Libya.

The Scottish National Party would also appear to be part of the cover-up over Lockerbie.

Angus Robertson.

In the UK parliament, Angus Struan Carolus Robertson is the Scottish National Party (SNP) Member of Parliament for Moray.

In the UK parliament, Robertson is the SNP Parliamentary Leader and Spokesperson on Foreign Affairs and Defence.

Robertson voted against the Iraq War, against Trident nukes, and against the anti-terror laws.

But, he supports the 'no-fly' zone over Libya, which involves the bombing of Libya and the killing of civilians.

Robertson was born in London and his mother is German.

He worked as a foreign and diplomatic correspondent in Central Europe for the BBC, which is believed to be run by MI6.

He is a participant in the Parliamentary Armed Forces Scheme, which gives Members of Parliament experience of the armed forces, and which is sponsored by arms manufacturers.

Why have we not yet had the full truth about Lockerbie?

Part of the problem is Alex Salmond and his Scottish National Party government in Edinburgh.

We are losing faith in Salmond and the SNP.

On 3 February 2011, at the Scottish Review:, journalist Kenneth Roy has written about the Megrahi Scandal.

For the truth to be revealed, the Scottish National Party government in Scotland needs only four weeks

Kenneth Roy makes the following points:

1. Professor Robert Black QC wonders why the Scottish National Party (SNP), 'untainted by past association with the Megrahi case', has decided not to 'confront this judicial scandal and attempt to correct it'.

2. The SNP's Alex Salmond became Scotland's First Minister in 2007.

He could have got rid of Elish Angiolini, the 'lord advocate', the top government legal officer.

But, strangely, he kept her in office.

"It feels in retrospect like one of his few serious political misjudgements..."

Angiolini "was never likely to pursue Lockerbie with the greatest zeal."


3. Since December 2010, "the position of the Scottish government has become quite impossible."

Here are two statements.

Statement 1

There are six grounds for believing that a miscarriage of justice may have occurred.

It is in the interests of justice to refer the case to the court of appeal.

Statement 2

Megrahi was convicted by a Scottish court, and Scottish ministers do not doubt the safety of his conviction.

4. Statement 1 – was the conclusion of the Scottish Criminal Cases Review Commission, an agency of the Scottish government, in 2007.

There were two years of "unexplained delays while the prisoner's second appeal was prepared".

In the end, the appeal was never heard.

"Megrahi, long frustrated by the impediments put in his way, dropped his appeal – it is generally believed as a pre-condition of his release."

5. Statement 2 is from a Scottish government briefing just before Christmas 2010.

"Statement 2 flatly contradicts Statement 1."



6. The Scottish Criminal Cases Review Commission's report has never been published.

The Salmond government says publication of the report is impossible without the permission of all the parties concerned and that all the parties have not consented.

Professor Black says the Scottish government would require only four weeks "to rescind this intolerable prohibition and allow the public access to the full report."

In the USA there are too many big bad institutions, such as the Pentagon.

Are all the big parties pretty much the same?

In the UK there is to be a general election.

The best outcome will be a 'hung parliament' where neither of the big parties has a majority and the small parties have to be listened to.

Of the small UK parties, we do not like UKIP because it wants to increase spending on defence by 40%.

We do not like the Liberal Democrats because they want to keep the troops in Afghanistan.

We do like the Scottish and Welsh Nationalists who want to take the troops out of Afghanistan and who want to scrap Trident and ID cards.

Others worth considering are the Green party (anti war), Respect (wants troops out of Afghanistan), TUSC (anti war) and the Alliance for Democracy whose policy is 'whatever the public want, they get'.

Gordon Brown's Labour Party wants to keep Trident missiles, at a cost of around £100 billion. Brown plans bigger cuts than under Margaret Thatcher.

The SNP attack Labour for planning "deeper and tougher" cuts than under Margaret Thatcher's government.

The SNP, in power in Scotland, claims it is funding 500 times more houses for poor people than Labour did during their last four years in power in Scotland.

The SNP says the Labour Party's Alistair Darling has admitted that Labour's cuts will be 'deeper and tougher' than even those of Margaret Thatcher.

The SNP stood shoulder-to-shoulder with workers at drinks firm Diageo, when jobs were threatened.
