You don't want to hear it.....

“All the war-propaganda, all the screaming and lies and hatred, comes invariably from people who are not fighting.”

“Freedom is the right to tell people what they do not want to hear”

George Orwell

Army Spc. Corey Kowall, 20, of Murfreesboro TN was killed in a crash after serving in Afghanistan for nearly five weeks.

No, you don't want to hear it.

This young man was not a hero. It was not sacrifice for our country or our freedoms. It was nothing but a wasted life for lies.

You don't want to hear it.
"War is a racket." It is the only one international in scope. It is the only one in which the profits are reckoned in dollars and the losses in lives.” U.S. General Smedley Butler....From the bankers to the war machine contractors to the pentagon death merchants to the puppet politicians, only a small group benefits from wars. Profit made from the lives of youth who are too indoctrinated to make responsible decisions.

You don't want to hear "What is the price for your child's life?"
No, seriously, how much would you charge me to let me kill your kid? I'll make up a whole batch of comfortable lies about it so you can assuage your guilt when your kid comes home in a cheap box with a cheaper flag draped over it, but, c'mon, let's talk money here. How much?

No?

Ummm, okay, how much will you charge me to let someone else's kids get killed? Better deal, huh? You don't have to know them, and I'll try to make sure you don't have to see them.

I know the above sounds absurd, but this deal has indeed been made. In exchange for money, a certain group of people have agreed to let your kids be killed. That group is the United States Congress. And for the last several years, many of them have been accepting money from AIPAC, a supposed lobbying group that stands exposed as a spy operation for a foreign government, in order to promote that foreign government's agenda, which includes war in the Mideast, waged against that foreign government's enemies.

This selling of America's children to a foreign government to be that government's mercenaries has to rank as the greatest single betrayal of a people by their government in all of history. {more}

You certainly don't want to hear this.
Parents, if your child is dead in war, perhaps you are the one that failed. You failed to stop them from joining the military. You failed to distinguish truth from lies and to pass life saving knowledge to them.
You accepted what your 'leaders and teachers and preachers' said and you didn't apply critical thinking to their words. You followed, you failed.

You still don't hear.
More troops is the answer... but Gen.McChrystal warns that in the short run, it "is realistic to expect that Afghan and coalition casualties will increase."

Those casualties will be your son or daughter. You can wave the flag, cry when they die and deceive yourself into thinking that it was worth it. Is it?

Corey Kowall will be buried soon. Words of his praise and the sorrow will soon vanish even quicker than his short life did. His dreams and potential become a statistic, a notation in the book of the dead.

The war profiteers are not sentimental. Their blood stained hands will take the money and once again ask for another to take Corey's place.

And we as a nation will let them.....and the lies will continue....because we do not hear.
