WTC Relics

Large pieces of debris, likened to meteorites by preservationists. The pieces are kept in a humidity-controlled tent in Hangar 17 of Kennedy International Airport.{from Newsday - Lane Johnson}

Furniture, twisted metal, pipes, cords and even papers with legible type are visible.

The source of the photos says "They are actually several floors of the towers compressed together as the buildings collapsed."

Almost volcanic looking.....

more photos from Hangar 17

I'm no expert but just looking at these photos I would guess that tremendous heat and energy was involved in the formation of these relics. Very high explosives might even be considered as a contributing factor.

A new video (9/7/09) with a mention of the molten metal in the pits of the WTC collapses.

A sign reading "That's All Folks" was recovered from the World Trade Center site and is kept in Hangar 17 at Kennedy International Airport.

That sign didn't live up to its billing. 9/11 was only a beginning to even worse damage and deaths in the neverending wars of the middle east.
