Censorship?

http://thumbs.dreamstime.com/thumb_232/1202062912I55aL2.jpg

I have always considered this blog to be fairly moderate. A hodgepodge of posts on various topics that one would think are not all that controversial.

But this month someone at google decided to apparently censor and filter out any direct links here. Some links are still there through other blogs and websites but even putting quotation marks around blog titles don't show up as they once always did. Even the several thousand images that once showed up in a search don't appear. I have received no warnings or complaints from google.

Plus photobucket says that 25 gigs of bandwidth have been used up in just a few days and so the links are disabled. I can't figure that one out, having had an account there for a couple of years with no problems.

I'm wondering if anyone else has seen their blog censored in searches on google lately. I've heard that it has happened to others before and a quick look through searches of some favorite blogs seem to show the same thing.

Are they trying to discourage bloggers by dramatically decreasing hits to their sites?

Free speech via the major search engine seems to be on the decline.
