Operation Hot Mother

Buster: My Army training tells me... that this is going to be a hot mission.
Michael: What? A hot mission?
Buster: Yes. I create a diversion, and you grab George Michael and go. We need a name. Maybe "Operation Hot Mother".
Michael: No, le-let's try to top that.
Narrator: They never did, and later, "Operation Hot Mother" was underway.

Tobias Fünke: The World's First Analrapist & Paper Doll

I'm on an Arrested Development kick after I saw Gizmodo's Jason Cho tweet that Jersey Shore would have more seasons than Arrested Development. Sigh.

Illustrator Kyle Hilton is making paper dolls of the Arrested Development cast, which are awesome. So for he has Tobias Fünke and George Bluth, Sr. with more to come. Click through for a printable size.

Star Wars Snowflakes

For all your geek Christmas needs, Star Wars snowflakes! Above an R2-D2 and C-3PO paper snowflake from the fine folks at The Nerdery. No instructions on making one though, so you're on your own. The two below both have instructions, but are still well beyond my rudimentary scissor skills. Enjoy.

Little Boxes

And none of them look the same. I've been slumming around the house sick for the past three days and took it upon myself to get craft, but in a pop culture way of course.

Cubeecraft has a fabulous collection of cutouts of animation and video game characters that you can print out at home and stick together with tabs (no glue or anything). I'm working on the Dr. Zoidberg but have realized I need to print it on thicker paper stock. I'll post a pic if I ever complete it.

So bookmark Cubeecraft, there's a new character every week.
