A January 2010 issue of the German business magazine "Focus Money" details the doubts about the official story on 9/11.

The "Focus Money" article suggests that the collapse of the World Trade Center could have been a controlled demolition.

The Shadow War in Afghanistan

In this war, drones are not the agency’s only weapon. The CIA also seems to specialize in running highly controversial, kick-down-the-door “night raids” in conjunction with Afghan paramilitary forces. Such raids, when launched by US Special Operations forces, have led to highly publicized and heavily protested civilian casualties. Sometimes, according to reports, the CIA actually conducts them in conjunction with special ops forces.

In a recent American-led night raid in Kunar province, eight young students were, according to Afghan sources, detained, handcuffed and executed. The leadership of this raid has been attributed, euphemistically, to “other government agencies” (OGAs) or “non-military Americans”. These raids, whether successful in the limited sense or not, don’t fit comfortably with the Obama administration’s “hearts and minds” counter-insurgency strategy. {more}

Senate Democrat calls for vast expansion of "no-fly list

The current standard for placing individuals on the no-fly list requires actual evidence rather than mere suspicion, but Feinstein criticized this as unduly complex. “It should be simplified that, if you have reasonable suspicion that an individual is connected to terrorism or a terrorist group, bingo, they go on the no-fly list,” she said. {more - Patrick Martin}

Israel demolishes Palestinian homes in WB

Palestinian sources say Israeli military forces began to demolish their homes in the northern West Bank after evacuating some 40 families from the area.

Five Israeli bulldozers and more than 15 military jeeps stormed the area in the West Bank village of Tana near Nablus on Sunday, Ghassan Daghlas, the Palestinian official in charge of settlement-related issues told Ma'an News Agency.

TSA lies exposed: Full-body scanner machines do save and transmit images, secret documents reveal

The TSA has been lying to the American people about full-body scanners. The agency has insisted that these "digital strip search" machines are incapable of save, storing or transmitting the images they take. This, we are told, makes it okay for people to be digitally strip-searched.

But secret documents uncovered by the Electronic Privacy Information Center (www.EPIC.org) have revealed that these machines do indeed posses precisely such capabilities. According to TSA specification requirement documents that have been uncovered by the EPIC, all full-body scanners purchased by the TSA must have the ability to both save and transmit the scanned images of air passengers.{more - Mike Adams}
